Our story starts by the sea

We named our restaurant after the coast that shaped us: Amalfi, where Southern Italy meets the Mediterranean, and where food has never been just food.

It is how we say I love you without the words

We named our restaurant after the coast that shaped us: Amalfi, where Southern Italy meets the Mediterranean, and where food has never been just food. It is tradition. It is togetherness.

We grew up around tables that were always full and kitchens that were always busy, learning that the best meals are the honest ones: good ingredients, a little patience, and people you love around you.

Nothing overcomplicated, nothing hidden

Our food is rooted in the true Mediterranean way: fresh fish, vegetables, selected meats, fresh pasta, and pizza fired in the wood oven. Just genuine flavours, made the way they have been made for generations.

Every day we cook dishes that reflect where we come from and how we like to live: slowly, warmly, and always with passion.

Our home in Hythe

Since 2018 we have called Hythe home, and we have been lucky enough to become part of the High Street's everyday life: birthdays and anniversaries, quiet midweek dinners, long Sunday lunches with the whole family.

A short walk from the Hythe Ferry, on the edge of the New Forest. We would not have it any other way.

Pull up a chair.

What we want to give you is a real taste of Italian life: the warm welcome of a classic trattoria, a meal worth lingering over, a good glass of wine, and the simple pleasure of sharing it all in good company. That is the whole reason we are here.
